Since 1990, Remuda Programs for Eating Disorders has treated nearly 9,000 of those suffering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Patients come to Remuda Ranch for 45-60 days because that’s what it takes for effective and lasting change to occur. All treatment is based on a bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework. This means we don’t just treat a disorder, we treat the entire person: mind, body and spirit.

VisionQuest’s Arizona programs accept young people ages 12-18 who typically are placed by Juvenile Court, the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), or another child-serving agency. Parent-paid placements are also accepted, though the cost is often a prohibitive factor for families.

    There are 3 acredited boarding schools in Arizona that we suggest for troubled teens. St. Paul's Preparatory Academy is a Christian based school located in Phoenix and is a school for young men. Fenster and Oak Creek Ranch are both coed schools for teens with academic and behavior problems. These Schools focus on the development of character and improved behavior of teenagers that may not get the attention they need in a conventional school setting. These boarding schools offer challenged to each student with a wide variety of problems and provide professional and experienced counselors, teachers, trainers who all are dedicated for helping unmotivated teens.
